HOLY SATURATED FIELD, BATMAN!
In addition to those already mentioned, all of these are free (though some are kinda old); to save some time and effort, i'm listing the download.com URLs, but most of these can be gotten from other sources too (i.e. softpedia.com, majorgeeks.com). Whenever the option appears, i suggest clicking on "Direct Download Link":

There are also good free all-in-one suites that include an undelete function:
Glary Utilities
I'll leave it to you to decide whether you want the regular, slim or portable (sorry Giovanni, don't mean to intrude on your territory ;) version; just visit http://download.cnet.com/windows and type "glary utilities" in the search box!
Advanced SystemCare

(Same caveats as Advanced SystemCare)
Your best bet is to have at least a few undelete programs installed (and at least a couple of the suites, for that matter), because chances are 1-2 programs alone will not be enough to get that deleted file you really REEEEAAAALLY need!
As for today's offering: You have got to set your product apart from all the others if you want to charge such a high price. Also, the name makes it sound like it's meant primarily for Windows 7, which is not only several years old, it's weird to have something so limited.
Recuva is another good alternative that is free. http://www.piriform.com/recuva
Just try Recuva. The "Deep search" will help you recover many files that you lose.
@Wolf: Ashampoo Undeleter seems not free.

About 7-data recovery Suite today - Note: Please note that GOTD version includes 1-year subscription. Updates are available.
Quote #67 june 18th. (Kingsoft Giveaway):
Software that will remain functional as it is, over the years, will normally come with a permanent userlicense. A Photo-application is a good example. New versions are no reason to stop older versions from working, but new versions might be only for selling because of the efforts modernising the code.
Software that needs continuous effort to stay effective and functional, normally comes with a temporary userlicense. You have to renew to pay for the continuous efforts. A virusscanner is a good example because of the signature updates. A cloud based application is another example because of maintenance of the accessed cloud servers. New versions might be a reason to stop older versions from working (compatibility) and should be bought because of the effort to create the new version and keeping things functional and actual.
About the giveaway:
There is no reason why recovery software should stop being available over time, nor that newer versions would stop older versions to function. It would be reasonable to accompany recovery software with a permanent userlicense.
After buying this type of software, nobody has to do any effort (unless you accept doing the efforts yourself by paying for license renewals) to keep things functional and nobody should earn something for doing nothing.
But in this case you are entitled to get updates during your temporary userlicense of one year. And of course, updates have to be made, efforts have to be taken. That would make it fair to accompany this software with a subscription, right? No, not at all! ...
Suppose you want to order a pizza with ham and cheese but then they tell you you can only do so when you also order anchovy (tied sales).
I would tell them, I just want pizza with ham and cheese. Í don't like ruining my pizza-deal and pay extra for what I don't want.
I'm telling here, I only want recovery software without the tied sales of updates. Only acceptable with a permanent user license.
Just pizza with ham and cheese please. Todays giveaway is no deal to me.
By the way, I'm merely expressing my opinion, you can have yours, but don't start telling me I shouldn't bother, I should be pleased, I should accept all kind of factual life etc. That's is only to me to decide, you'll have to do with my opinion - as is -
Yeah, I know it is free today, so thanks for the offer – but...
$29,95 (was $39,95!) for an one PC, one year license for non-commercial use only – for a program which will be used by most (if not all) users on a very occasional basis only?
Dream on!
IMHO programs like this one – if they are not Freeware – should be sold on an one-time payment basis only and not by subscription!
Naturally, I will pass on this one.
Attention, validité d'une année seulement !
Reste qu'après une suppression volontaire, la récupération est aléatoire.
