A1RunGuard is a bulletproof blocker for unwanted programs + password protecting any executable+additional Anti-Ransomware protection.

A1RunGuard can prevent some Ransomware attacks.

Ransomware often uses legitimate programs that may be found across all Windows versions for various destructive operations. This technique allows ransomware to avoid detection by the antivirus software.

Miltos, It should work with any anti-virus program. If it found an antivirus .exe suspicious, it would flag it but you can decide if you want to allow it or password protect it. Windows has ransomware protection. I'm sticking with it. I'd love to hear from Greatis Software on the subject.

I'd rather buy a new PC than pay a ransom for mine. I have all passwords and personal files backed up to 2 external hard drives, one that is not connected to my PC.
