If you are into flight simulators, you will like the GUI...
No easy direct way to go back to previous giveaway page of this soft. I just gave up: browsing GOTD archives has become too nightmarish for me since the "improvement" of the site. Too bad, there were interesting comments there. If somebody wants to take the time to go back to August, month after month, and give the link...
Something I remember because I had the issue: the main window doesn't fit well with certain screen sizes: it is cropped on the top and you cannot see how to maximize/minimize or close. Some posters even complained that they had to close through the task manager! (No no, not me...) Just pull inwards one of the sides and the top will show.

Once again I agree, the new GOTD page is very poorly designed.
The software publishers that so generously provide their applications for our benefit, have lost a significant portion of the value of posting here, (from their standpoint), now that GAOTD has removed their previous posting's comments from being available in perpetuity. It was extremely useful to have access to the previous comments; especially early in the day when often times, there were few or no comments on a current offering. Surely this was an oversight on the part of GAOTD and not a deliberate act to remove this info that was so beneficial to the publishers AND to those that might want to download, but would like more info first. (Not all of us are setup with machines like Karl... to, 'uninstall via reboot').
I've been using Abstract Curves x64/x86 since the last GOTD on Windows 7 SP1 x64 machine and it produces lots of nice background images. This is excellent software.
Design tip: After you create a background image using this program, create a horizontal flip image and overlay it with a filter, like Color Dodge, to create enhanced background images from the original! You will be impressed!
Unfortunately I don't really have the system specs to run such a demanding piece of software but I would like to say that it is nice to see some screen shots at the top of the page - all too often with graphic design and photo manipulation software there are no screen shots or examples (in the case of photo object removal, say).
May I suggest that all developers include screen shots or examples because I for one am far more likely to download and test a giveaway if I can see the GUI and/or some examples beforehand.
Thanks anyway and a happy new year to all the regular contributors and of course the project team!
Très bon logiciel de création de fonds d'écran. J'ai tout de suite accroché.
