The Good
* Straightforward and easy to use.
* Gives users the ability to use background animation effects, and to add animated objects.
* Can create multi-image wallpapers (can double as a wallpaper changer).
* Users are allowed to export wallpapers into standalone .EXEs that anyone can use, regardless of if you have the program install or not.
The Bad
* Only one background effect can be used per image.
* Has a fairly limited selection of animations.
* User can't control if he/she wants the animations (effects and objects) to occur only in a specific portion of the image.
* Desktop icons are not properly dealt with when an animated wallpaper is turned on.
* Doesn't allow user to add GIF images (animated or otherwise).

This is improving, but has numerous problems. Still has limited effects, animations, and adjustments. If nothing else, effect height needs to be more adjustable. Luminosity of animations needs to be adjustable. At a minimum, need upper and lower bounds for animations. Numerous bugs, such as in-editor preview doesn't match result, no choice but to use Stretch on multi-monitor configurations, which distorts the aspect ratio. Exceptionally low CPU use (near zero), low memory consumption, doesn't impact Aero. Wants to access Explorer's memory, which I block. Always performs update check, which I also block. Animated Wallpaper Maker 2 definitely has potential, but I wouldn't purchase it in the present form.
I'm back. Have been working with it since the 1st comment I left. Animations actually change positions from where you see them in the ap, & after all my work, saved only 2, and would you believe..the dang thing now won't even show up on my screen at all! Acts like it's going to, then doesn't.
Oh, & yes, it wants access to a lot of things. In my stupid happiness to see results, I let it. Argh. For nothing. Uninstalling.

Quit searching CNET for unrelated junk, and only post links to the developer's websites. #12, ws, posted a somewhat comparable alternative, but it doesn't create animated wallpaper. #13, Promytius, Corner-A ArtStudio is more sophisticated but doesn't create animated wallpaper.

jaimerais ajouter aussi qua peut pres tout les 3 minutes limage scintille . pour ma part pas terrible .pis rojamel tas raison les icones bureau reste avec limage wallpaper precedent .bon pour les enfants mais pas pour window 7

Bonjour, Je viens de télécharger Animated Wallpaper et on me demande une clé d'activation. Est-ce que il y a une telle clé lorsque nous téléchargeons un logiciel comme logiciels du jours ?

Cela faisait longtemps que tu nous donnais plus de nouvelles.
Pour Imvu, si tu as une très bonne connexion il faudrait passer
derrière un proxy US (je sais que pas mal d'utilisateurs râlent
pour le niveau sécuritaire) bien maîtriser l'"anglais SMS" pas évident
pour un non english !
Et n'oublies pas que pour le "public room" est toujours ouvert( comme sur GOTD, sauf en ce moment) donc attention aux "abruti(e)s" de toutes sortes! D'où la liste de blocage. Si des fouteurs de m....e
mettent le chantier dans ton room c'est toi qui est responsable, et ça peu aller loin ! donc attention... mettre la liste noire à jour!

Quelques effets dispo, un systray pour son contrôle, ...
Pas de quoi fouetter un chat mais ça peut faire son petit effet auprès des momes (disons un jour ou deux)
Le soft est nomade si on pense à récupérer le common_res.dll qui traine dans windoze/system32
Evidement, faut pas espérer avoir le fond de texte des icones en transparence. Win c'est pas OS X

Aujourd'hui Animated Wallpaper Maker 2.0.1
Après ce test, conclusions personnelles:
L'idée est bonne au départ pour ceux qui aiment les écrans de veille!
( ce qui n'est pas mon cas, je ne peux pas en mettre à cause des
logs 3d, )
- les effets sont trop restreints ainsi que les réglages.
- Une bibliothèque réduite.
- A la sortie, on reste sur sa faim, car on voudrait avoir plus de
possibilité avec ce logiciel. Encore une fois, on a un logiciel qui
semble bon, mais au bout d'un moment on se retrouve vite limité,
se qui est rageant. ( feu, éclair, bubble, vague, neige, etc..
poissons exotiques, herbes etc...)
- Dommage! Gros manques de pouvoir créer ce que l'on veut exactement.
