It says in the readme text only valid for 1 year use - what happens to the backups after that, can you still use the program to restore them or have to buy the full version
Kevin Williams, it converts to the free version and you can still use your backups
I use since ever, Acronis True Image ( my current lifetime version is 2025 ), but wanted to try a new backupper, which would be faster and easier than Acronis. So last week I tried this one as a trial installation.
It is a little bit faster but the backup was the same size as the original C: and D: backupped drives, while Acronis gives me approximately 17.5% of the original size. It also uses a Proprietary backup file format.
I couldn't find a compress files option.
So I decided not to use it.

"3 Backup Options
In “Options” when creating a task, it is possible to set parameters for individual task,
including the compression level, backup encryption, notification enabling, splitting,
intelligent sector, VSS, and others.
3.1 Operation Priority
In “Options”-->”Advanced”, select “Operation Priority”. The Normal option is
selected by default. However High or Low priority can be selected if required, as
described below.
- High.Thetask operation process will have a higher priority than other
processes on your computer and will be executed at a faster speed.
- Normal. The task operation process will have the same priority as other
processes on your computer and will be executed at a normal speed.
- Low.Thetaskoperation process will have a lower priority than other processes
on your computer and will be executed at a slower speed.
After the operation priority is configured, the execution time of the task will be
affected. According to the needs of the task, the priority of the task execution can be
adjusted up or down."

The last time I've used this software when I needed to restore some files I coudn"t, the only option was to restore the complete backup.
Thats what happen when you need it and the licence as expired.
So no thanks.
