I see no benefit to make partitions and this, because the current PCs nowadays have two discs, an SSD and a regular HD with a recovery partition.
You can also even hang several external SSDs to the USB ports for storage.
I installed and the program required me to uninstall a lifetime version 6 before installing this software. I followed the instructions and it did uninstall my previous version. Then, I find I can't register! Something is wrong. Now I just noticed this is only a 1 year license and I can't register it. I do hope something can be done about this. i really liked the previous version.

I hope this bug will be resolved as this installation had me delete my previous version of this program (version 8,5). So now, I am left without 9,6 nor 8,5... Contrary to the first comment here, this is software is use regularly. I am very happy that AOMEI offers this from time to time. Every single time it is made available for free, I install it without hesitations.
