This tool is a very nice application which does its job pretty well, even though like Yesterday this GAOTD does not refer to the last version of the program (v. 5.0).

As FREEWARE ALTERNATIVES, the BEST one I’ve ever used till now is definitely a free and portable tool called “PICPICK”, an awesome graphic capture program with an impressive array of options, which cannot be found even in most of its (paid) rival products out there, such as its unique AUTOSCROLL CAPTURE feature, designed to enable users to capture ENTIRE WEBSITES or documents that scroll beyond the visible section of the screen.

This "new" version supposedly offers lots of innovative features and improvements, but I'm immediately told that I should "upgrade" to to Snap 5. So this isn't even the current version. No thanks.

Snap is very handy. Used both version 3 and version 4. The latter version has the pesky habit of writing itself to the startup-list every time I use it. In both versions the snap-shot feature works just fine. In contrast, the video-recording is not very intuitive, but maybe that is just me.
This is really a great program and you will love how easy it is to use and how great the folks at Ashampoo are. they never spam you and you never have to worry about getting unwanted emails from them. They completely respect all their customer's privacy requests. So in addtion to being the greatest software anywhere you can use their programs knowing that they will never try to spam you in every possible way including pop-ups that appear when you open their programs to use them. None of the above is anywhere close to being true but when I do tell the truth about these people GAOTD always deletes my comments.

Bonjour, j'ai bien fait attention à l'installation, de refuser et donc de décocher l'installation de la barre de recherche ashampoo.
Eh bien cette barre s'installe quand même. Donc premier non respect de choix personnel et d'atteinte à la vie privée ...!

Bonjour; moi la pub d'ashampoo je ne la trouve pas trop envahissante; vu le sérieux de la boîte et de ses logiciels, vu la qualité de leurs logiciels pour un prix abordable ou gratuit, j'adhère par avance à tous leurs logiciels.

s'installe vite un + se lier au site pour l'obtention d'un code d'activation ..OK .. mais le rapport de police qui suit nom prénom.. date de naissance . c'est un peu trop fichier cible de spam . J'ai tester une fois un produit Ashampo , que j'ai désinstallé , mais depuis je reçoit 4 fois par semaine des courriers sur leur produits. Celui ci est peut être bon. C'est le fournisseur qui laisse à désirer dans le cas présent. Je m’abstiens donc de laisser mes coordonnées pour ne pas être pourri de SPAM. et de tester le produit.
