Good software which does what it claims flawlessly.
However there are tons of freeware out there which can do more or less the same things for FREE....

So 50 Bucks for an app like this is senseless, in my view.
And how about "ImBatch"?
In short it's a batch image processor, designed to EDIT multiple image files in batch with a couple of mouse click by using SCRIPTS.
Supports ALL popular image formats out there (BMP, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, PCX, PNG, TGA, PIX, JP2, J2K, PSD, WDP, HDP), plus over 100 different image file formats, including RAW ones from a massive number of digital cameras, once all 3 official built-in plugins (DCRaw, ImageMagick, JBig) are enabled.
What makes it special and better, compared to other batch image processors out there, is its nice looking GUI and above its “Task Structure” functionality.
In fact, with this function, users not only can combine several tasks to make a processing sequence conversion (resize, rotate, applying watermark & effects, set/edit/remove EXIF and IPTC Tag from photos, creade 3D images etc...), but can also change the order of tasks and even add or remove some tasks twice or more.
Then, once applied all editing tasks in batch, this FREE GEM gives you the ability to publish your entire edited photo collection to FACEBOOK album in a BATCH mode, rather than adding each photo manually
Cool, isn't it??

If you are looking for an image optimizer helping you visually adjust compression ratio parameters, while keeping minimum filesize and high image quality (so great for web photo galleries and email attachments), try also this FREE and PORTABLE gem:

Enjoy!! ^_^
Installed and registered withou problems on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit system.
A Russian company with address.
Upon start a small resizable window opens. You add your pictures or a folder, you define the resize options in pixel or percent, you can do some picture manipulation (grey or "normalized" color) and you resize.
That's done in a simple and understandable way. For the resize freak you can switch between 18 (!) resizing methods from bicubic to Lanzcos or Bessel. Are there more than 18 ? ...
Included is a simple watermark feature with text or image, only text rotation is missing.
This is done in simple, but effective way.
A well made small utility. Does what it claims.
I'll use the built in features in my photo application.
http://www.fotosizer.com/ is free and does the same...
If you need to batch process a group of images to save on size try the following program:-
http://www.balesio.ch/fileminimizerpictures/eng/index.php
The image size in bytes will be reduced by more than 95% and more often than not and there is no discernible loss of quality at a normal viewing size.
I haven't tested today's program because in my view the sell such as simple program at such an exorbitant price is frankly a rip-off. All it does is take advantage of very inexperienced computer users who don't know any better.
I skip my comment on their statement "cheap program" but it is the first developer here on GAOTD site who says (in the product description on their website) about several JPEG lossless operations. At least they know about latest lossless technology. All previous developers just promised the highest quality.
