Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.2 Pro 64 bit system.
We had had version 5.2 of this software on April 17th of this year. Here are the old reviews:
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/batch-picture-resizer-5-2/
A Russian company with address&phone. We had had several software from this company.
Upon start a small resizable window opens. You add your pictures or a folder, you define the resize options in pixel or percent, you can do some picture manipulation (grey or “normalized” color) and you resize.
That’s done in a simple and understandable way. For the resize freak you can switch between 18 (!) resizing methods from bicubic to Lanzcos or Bessel. Are there more than 18 ? …
Included is a simple watermark feature with text or image, only text rotation is missing.
This is done in simple, but effective way. Perhaps somebody could check the German translation... "Bilde hinzufügen" should be "Bilder hinzufügen" and some more.
A well made small utility. Does what it claims. And a claim (*) No special knowledge required - that's correct if you use the default values.
I’ll use the built in features in my photo application -> reboot
(*) I always search and check the claims, which a company writes on their pages. Sometimes I find interesting statements. ;-)
As #1 Karl pointed out there are a number of options for the resize method, further information can be found at the following links:-

The last one is included not for the mathematics but more for the images it contains.
Possibly understanding this will make today's useful download even more useful.
Nice effort by today's developer and good of GAOTD to facilitate it but sometimes one has to wonder if computer users are as street smart as they should be -- and especially when it comes to being aware of long established (like, er, 20 years), world-renowned, multi-million user base, constantly updated and entirely FREE image editing software IrfanView.
I can't believe folks have never heard of it and/or don't know how to use its facilities but to judge from some of the comments here, a link to a quick tutorial written by an independent pro seems in order:

I'm not knocking the $29.99 Soft Orbits product, rather pointing out to them as well as anyone else who might be interested that a commercial developer is always going to have to deliver massively more than Irfanview already does if it's to have much hope of success. Thanks, GOTD, and thanks Soft Orbits, but like many another I've been doing batch processing for years and years, for free, with IrfanView.
#4 Yes, it can.

il semble qu'il y a des problèmes pour obtenir la clé de licence; j'ai rempli à 2 reprises le formulaire avec e-mail et nom sans recevoir de code d'activation de la licence.
