I've noticed that any positive comments immediately get a negative mark!
C'mon guys - we're not all croneys of the software retailers.
At the risk of being crucified, can I dare to say that this installed without any problems? Or is that too much of an endorsement? Seemed to work okay with a simple video DVD burn. Offers more burning speeds than Ashampoo.
(BTW I normally post warnings - dare I mention SoftOrbits? - and occasionally complaints, especially when an "offer" turns out to be just a "prize draw"! But if something is good, I'll say so. Sorry if that offends anyone)
Friedhaggis, not all positive comments get a negative.
Look again, the ones that get a negative simply say things like, "it's good". That does not help a reader decide if it is worth trying. In contrast, positive comments that add info, like "I used it for years" or "no problems installing over a previous version" help in the decision.
For example, I have version 10.1 installed, so whether a new installation will play nice (or if I have to go through the trouble of uninstalling the previous version) play a role in my decision. I don't usually bother to add a negative but I think others are rating the comment on the effort and how useful the comments are
Every day GAOTD list for each giveaway System Requirements, Price, Publisher, File size, etc.
Can they not be persuaded to add two items to this every time: the licence period, and a reminder to temporarily disconnect anti-virus and anti-malware when applicable?
This would avoid many adverse comments and save us the bother of reading them and being put off by them. This time for instance all the comments are good except those which would not come if GAOTD did this. Perhaps commentators could pressure this. I hope this is not moderated out.
The burning app I use and since years ago. Small, clean, easy to use and it does the job. Recommended to all friends and family.

Après avoir lu (et traduit grâce à mon ami Google) les nombreux commentaire, j'ai lancé le téléchargement, désactivé pour 10mm les agents Avast et lancé l’installation. Méthode simple, ça roule tout seul! L'install se lance avec le choix de langue système (apparemment puisque il m'a proposé le français en direct...j'ai pas voulu contrarier (^_^) ) l'enregistrement est dans la foulée (agréable comme système) je suis surtout curieux de voir l'option récupération de disque illisible... sur ce coup je suis quand disons septique, surtout au prix ou le logiciel est vendu en temps normal...je vais bien trouve des CD bien pourrave pour faire un essais, et je reviendrais commenter alors.
