The PRO version is an excellent program....this GAOTD is just the LIGHT edition, missing lots of key features (sync with Google, files attachments etc...) wich can be found even in FREE programs out there.
So it's definitely not worth downloading and/or commenting!!
1 THUMBS DOWN to the software and 2 THUMBS DOWN to this policy to give us just the outdated or basic versions of the main program in the hope we buy the full commercial one.

Lite also doesn’t support categories, cannot sync with Google Calendar, does not have yearly calendar view, and cannot attach files. Pro has all these features and more.

@Jim Sock: Very few will be satisfied with a program that is less useful or less full-featured than another that does things better and is also free. That is the nature of competition. The challenge for Giveaway of the Day, and in most cases they do, is to showcase programs that do things _better_ and offer _more features_ than the freebie competition. I for one always try out the GotD offer of the day and if it satisfies my needs I go no further. But if it falls short, I try some of Giovanni's suggestions. That in no way hurts GotD's offer.
A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community. Giovanni does not fit this description. He does not prevent us from receiving the benefit of the day's giveaway, he simply informs us of freely available alternatives. I can't see how this can be seen as being done at our expense.
@j #10 - Giovani a troll? Why would you dis someone like that? The best way to improve any website, inclulding GAOTD, is to have varied viewpoints, opinions and back them up with tangible info - which is what Giovani does. I must say that GAOTD has not had as many good giveaways as they did in the past and the "trolls" as you call them, provide excellent pointers to software that will cover the need. I for one thank Giovani and others for the excellent assistance and flavor they provide to visitors at GAOTD - not to mention the legendary Ashraf.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
The purpose of GAOTD is to let us try for free a full version of these programs, we then rate them and help the author make changes, not the lite version that we can get anytime I don't even consider downloading and trying lite versions it is a waste of time in my opinion if I cannot try out Pro versions.
