It might be a useful program however I do not want to be forced to install the Bing tool bar on install::! I will have to take a pass on this one because of the Forced Bing Tool Bar!
Installed without any fuss, one opening a rather gaudy interface once I'd clicked I didn't want an update. Everytime I opened the program I had to cancel the update and quite frankly it became very irritating. In the hope of getting rid of it I accepted an update, after downloading it said it was installing, then I reran it and asked me if I wanted to update!!!!!
It looks like a very versatile program and appears to have the ability to run a program at set times, but quite frankly the gaudy interface and the incredibly irritating request that I update was too much to bear and I uninstalled it.
If you can hack its irritating behaviour and its interface it is probably a good program to have on your machine, but it's not for me.
If you read the license agreement it clearly states "NOTE: By installing this application, you agree to the installation of the Bing Toolbar or Bing Bar."
While Bing Toolbar is easy enough to uninstall, I simply do not like the idea of being forced to install it.
Since v1.0.7 was all bug fixes, I figured it highly unlikely that they woud not give it to us with today's offer. This turned out to be correct! Just follow the update offer--you get a registered v1.0.7.
Since Ashraf usually downloads the regular program in order to have time to submit his review early, ie not from the GAOTD link, this may explain his bloatware. I used the GAOTD link. I always to Adv install to be able to put my apps not on C:, and there were no offers for other installations. Just the usual choose install location, Start list location, and do you want desktop icon or on launchbar. According to my install programs, nothing else was installed.
I also might mention that I have been using their Standard as a simple timer for ages because of its great simplicity.
Bing toolbar is also listed in the license that you have to agree with. I aborted installation.
