How is it better than TrueCrypt/VeraCrypr/VDFCrypt/FreeCrypt ?
They all create containers.

VeraCrypt is the successor to TrueCrypt, which is no longer, & has undergone 3rd party security audits, so it's pretty bulletproof. Unfortunately, with all it's features VeraCrypt can also be confusing, even overwhelming to some people -- Cryptbox has a simpler GUI & is easy to use.

A good, reputable company with full company information on their website! If anyone from Abelssoft is reading these comments, or if anyone else knows the answers, I have a couple of questions. Thank you!
1) In a regularly scheduled hard drive backup, will the "data safe" be moved in kind to the backup drive?
2) What happens if the password is ever lost? Is there a workaround?
3) Can this be installed to an external drive?
