Not in any way, shape or form worth buying, if you look at alternatives to MS Office, OpenOffice is by far better than Crystal Office. I did not find any feature worth using that isnt already in Open Office, which is free.
Thumbs down.
As near as I can see there wasn't anything special here with the possible exception of the clip plus. And even with the clip plus, after clogging up my registry, there didn't a right-click 'send to clip plus' option.
Notes program (doesn't seem to handle novel length works), few right-click options, no sentence combining (for correcting notes that are pasted in). Tried the scheduler/calendar, couldn't find a minimode. Nothing is portable.
If you need a free office suite go to portableapps.com and pick up the Libre Office Suite and the Open Office Suite (portables).
If you want to pay just get Microsoft, or Corel, or Textmaker . . . this is a crowded space.
I am puzzled by why someone would spend time writing a big office suite, hoping to make money on it, when OpenOffice is already out there, free for the downloading. You need to write a suite of utilities that don't already exist. Don't people do analysis anymore? Or brainstorming? You need to do market research before blowing your budget on writing redundant software!
CellPro experiences an error when it opens a file, it does not understand spreadsheets with Dutch formulas.
NotePro cannot open a more complex doc.
ChartPro cannot open its own two examples.
But apart from these minor bugs, the look and feel is fantastic: no ribbon ;)
1 - Was this program written by students in a college? It runs on the same level as MS Office 2000 (MSO). It's almost a clone of MSO 2000.
2 - Crystal Office (CO) is not compatible with MSO Powerpoint 2007. When trying to open a document originally created in Powerpoint, CO ChartPro comes up with ( Cannot Perform LOCATE on a closed dataset: Native error: 10271: )
NICE TRY Crystal Office, But No Cigar! :-(
Ressemble étrangement à OOo ou maintenant LibreOffice
