22% THUMBS UP only? Come on, be serious guys...
This is a very good program, in my view, especially if you are engaged in many activities, since it helps you create daily, weekly or monthly to-do lists with a nice structured and easy to use GUI layout (calendar panel on the left-side, to-do list section, and notes and attachments panel on the right-side).
This way you can easily navigate between different dates and insert links, files or images as a reminder, with the cool additional ability to to drag and drop emails inside the to-do list, so as to create tasks from them (supports almost all popular email clients out there).
Users can manage tasks priority by adding a color to each of them (red for the highest priority or yellow for the lowest), with the ability to export their notes from each task to DOC, TXT, RTF, HTML, ODT or PDF.
So overall it's a KEEPER for me and give it so many THUMBS DOWN is simply senseless and silly!

* Nimbus Note
What if you could create notes with document, tables, hyperlinks and/or photo attachments, build to-do lists and then synchronize them with any other devices out there for FREE?
This way you can read your notes wherever and wherever you are, as long as an Internet connection is available for you (max 100 Mb per month, with a note size limit of 50Mb, in the FREE Edition).
Notes can be tagged or sorted by creation date, name, size or the 'to-do' entry, with the additional cool ability to import them from Evernote, Text and Word files.
Can also be used as a task manager utility, since you can assign your notes a "to-do list" option, containing all the tasks you should complete in order to achieve a specific goal.

This time I work with a stopwatch. Really!
But most importantly, Daily To-Do List is very easy and fun to use. You can get started with it immediately - download it now and be up and running in just 3 minutes!
Claim correct, installation, activation and entering the first task with day, reminder time and a short note took 1:44 min.
A clear structured resizable window opens, a calendar on the left on the right the window to enter and manage tasks. The program can be exported to a portable USB drive. That's good. There are several skins for an individual touch.
The program creates "sticky notes", too. Long time that I have used "sticky notes". It was an early hit by 3M (IIRC).
Entering several tasks for other days I am missing a clear sign on the calender on which dates other tasks are programmed.
Starting the portable version works, but I do not find a way to synchronize it with the desktop version - simply import is not sufficient, because I could have defined different tasks on the desktop and later on the portable drive.
And this is the main point. SYNCHRONIZATION. In times of so many portable devices, synchronization is crucial, be it with GOOGLE calendar, be it with connected Android apps, be it via WLAN or what ever contact to a different device. The "follow us" on Facebook, Twitter or Google plus, shows, that the company has at least understood some principles on internet (LOL) - but not implemented task list on cloud storage or other ways to communicate.
A clear and well structured ToDoList planner, too limited in Phone, IPAD, Tablet times.
Uninstalled via reboot. I'll use my internet programs for that.

"You can deploy the program on USB and carry it with you. You can also place the database file into a Dropbox folder and access it from anywhere." - http://www.dextronet.com/daily-to-do-list
So it will be activated, I found it best to install the program to the computer...and then go to File-"Deploy to USB Flash Drive".
In Dropbox, I created a "Daily To-Do List" folder. In Daily To-Do List, I chose File-"Relocate database", and chose the "Daily To-Do List" folder I created in Dropbox.
If you only use Windows, this is a great option. (I use multiple operating systems...)

Looks good, but a 17-MB-Installer for a simple To-Do-List? Even if todays RAM is huge, I want a small memory footprint of a tool, which waits in the background around the clock. Could someone mention, how much RAM it occupies, when minimized to the system tray?
Didn't try this one, because I already have reminders.

Easily installed.
Remember to click on bottom left hand corner "Advanced"
Otherwise the software setup will just go by default.
You can tick or untick the boxes according to your taste.
I always want to control where the software is installed.
The software developer says you must be administrator to do that. Which I am.
Remember to go into Options and untick the box [Automatically start Daily To-Do List] -- under the [General - Start Up] section.
The software by default does not automatically check for updates, which is good.
Check the Hotkeys section in Options, if you wish to reassign hot keys to prevent clash with your other software.
Dextronet says:
"We think when we design software so you don't have to when you use it."
Well ,I hope so too.
I stopped using Swift To-Do List because it was too heavy going.
A To-Do List must be easy and natural to use. Without having to read any manuals. Actually in the normal day to day life, we do no have that many "tasks" to accomplish; such that we need a computer software to handle it. The computer in our heads can sort that out, by simply forgetting the less important tasks.
This genre of software has many freeware rivals. Some are portable too. Nowadays mobile phones have free or very cheap To Do List applications. So Dextronet may or may not win this battle.
It is a clever way to introduce users who want more power, to their Swift To-Do List.
