For crying out loud! Everyday its the same, people posting worthless comments about the GOTD software but very few actually taking the time to try it out and then write a useful review instead of going on about freeware that is better and can do more.
Quick review: Using Windows 10 (64) the download, installation and registration were very quick and smooth. Once installed took it for a test drive and was pleased to see that it detected all my NAS drives. I have a couple of large NAS drives that for some reason I can access like any other drive on my machine but for some unknown reason the NAS drives won't report back to Windows how much space is available to them (I think it is a quirk of the drives) but this software produces a report on the status of these drives without any problems. There may well be freeware out there that does this and more but for me this worth keeping.
For those of you that are moaning about what a program can or can't do .... Nobody is forcing you use it, the idea is to let you try before you buy.
I hope users continue to provide their insight into the GOTD offerings, in spite of vitriol against their input. Comments about the software is legitimately part of what many of us use to help decide whether we even want to try the offering. Additionally, users take the time to learn more about the developers, their history, the program's track, past user reviews and beyond. This is all valid and worthwhile, as not all developers are perfectly honest and forthcoming. Who wouldn't want to know about possible issues before installing a program onto their own system? GOTD users have saved my machine from potential disaster while steering me towards wonderful programs I may not have tried otherwise (which I now give great word-of-mouth recommendations for).
What a program can or cannot do is precisely one of the major bits of information many of us want to know. This commentary against such is just odd and unnecessarily contrary.
Disk Analyzer pro is better designed and the free version is enough for most user
With the free version of Disk Analyzer you cannot analyze network shares, save reports and search files.
All these features are available in the free version of DiskSavvy.
Installation et enregistrement OK sur Windows 10 (64 bits).
Très utile, car on finit toujours par laisser traîner des trucs malgré le soin qu'on y prenne.
Cordial merci.
