I have to admit, that I have a faible for small or single programmer units, which do not hide behind anonymity and pretend to be a big global player, working from the kitchen table of the parents home. We see from time to time "companies" with millions of customers and somebody behind, learning the first steps of real programming.



G.F. Software is formed by computer programmer Gabriel Fernandez (hence the name G.F. Software). As a musician, most of my products are music related.

G.F. Software has been online for more than 10 years, with customers all over the world.

I am impressed, Mr Fernandez. This is not only Easy audio mixer is a multi track editor designed for average users it can be used by the advanced user, too. The help (video) is excellent. Some limitations can be solved after install. The software can export to WAVE files, and Windows media audio files.
Also, if you have the LAME MP3 Encoder, it will be able to export to MP3 files.

Install it and test it! I’ll keep it as a fast working tool for mixing and as an example that there are real programmers in Paraguay, too.

I have meanwhile deleted the program, while cleaning up my system for the Win01 update. I recognized, that I didn't use it.

I only occasionally need this type of software, I'm not a musician, but do sometimes need to make simple tracks for videos and demonstration presentations. I have been using Audacity, or struggling to, which, to be honest, I find very complicated for what I need it for. I've already knocked up a couple of quick tracks with Easy Audio Mixer and LOVE it - it's simple to use, works well and gives a good final result. Even better is that it works with all the many samples I've collected so saves going through all that again.

This is a definite keeper, thank you GAOTD.

Most I think have heard of or know about Photoshop Plug-ins as a standard for tools or FX that work in a large number of image editors. For audio that standard is VST & VSTi, which is very popular because of the very large number of free tools & FX available.

ASIO many may not have heard of. ASIO is a type of audio hardware driver that does what Direct X is supposed to do -- lets your software access audio hardware directly, rather than going through the layers of code in Windows. Some hardware has ASIO drivers available from the manufacturer, but there's also "ASIO4ALL -- Universal ASIO Driver For WDM Audio".

Sorry guys had no other way of posting a message to the giveaway site. I can't access my forum account and the only place I can access the internet at the hotel I'm staying at is at the reception desk and even that is sporadic.
