Windows Explorer lacks the basic feature one might have considered such as allowing you to bulk transfer files, overwriting older versions where applicable. Ive often thought we need supplemental options to augment explorers capabilities or replace it altogether with something more competent even in such basic regards

Michael Chessman, you CAN bulk transfer files in Windows Explorer. Select multiple files, drag them to the desired location, or right-click them, and click either "cut" (for moving) or "Copy" (for copying). Then go to the desired location, right-click anywhere (not on a file) and select "Paste".
