Not wishing to discourage any developer, but it's baffling why today's appears to think there's a commercial future for this software when Piriform's long-established CCleaner mops up browser dross according to individual preference; Malwarebytes does pretty well with adware / malware; and Revo (for x32) and Geek (for x64) will at the click of a mouse display on-screen whatever has landed on your computer and uninstall it if you wish. All the above are free, as is real-time monitor WinPatrol, whilst Firefox, the browser I use, is set to automatically clean up after itself on exit. Maybe at $4.99 this "fast browser cleaner" might have a chance, but otherwise? Thanks, but no thanks.
Spent ages trying to find out where to register but to no avail.
Picked some innocuous item to clean and then pressed the button to clean it.
Now the registration window popped up, would have been nice if this can be explained in the README.
As a test decided to clean out some adware, it requested a reboot and I accepted, bad move!
When I opened one of my webpages which has information input by myself and which I hoped to keep and it was gone.
Note this with nothing to do with removing passwords.
It found quite a lot of items and could possibly be useful if it let me see what the items contained, but it doesn't.
Programs of this type can do more harm than good in that they lose information you have to re-input as it did with Adware.
To justify the price it does need to give more information about what is going to the removed and because of my experience with the loss of webpage information I will be removing it from my system.
One word for you! CCleaner!
@Kiwi1960, CCleaner is great and I use it frequently - however this program seems to be leaning to cleaning adware, spyware, and other piece-of-crapware that you can pick up online without knowing it. I am currently using Malwarebytes to remove Malware.
I agree with @Tata - I refuse to "blindly trust" any program that wants to delete things off my computer without knowing what it is.
So unless Tata was incorrect about being able to view things to be deleted BEFORE deleting, I won't be trying this. It sounded good, but I can mess up my computer just fine on my own without allowing a program I'm not familiar with to do it for me.
Hi, just wasted good 2 hrs on this 'cookie'. First of all link given in 'Read me' file doesn't work in IE (tells page cannot be found) and what's more - Registration button in Software (yes, purchase one) takes you as far as PayPal, still showing this Software at full price(!!) Only using Chrome you'll find that link in Readme works, and 'purchase' takes you to Software showing '0' price, after which 'Thank you for taking interest' message appears, and ca 20 mins later Key arrives in junk box.
Tested Scan on both IE and Chrome and only in Chrome it found 1 Adware called 'Trovi'(by Conduit), rest of addons etc can be found in Internet settings, so nothing new there. Pressed 'Clean now' and the info appeared that it's cleaned and gone. REALLY??! On several new scans (restarting FastBrowserCleaner as if for the first time) STILL showing 'Trovi', STILL showing info that it's gone, and IT ISN'T!! USELESS. Un-In-Stalled!!. I was hoping to use this Program to get rid of 'AdChoices' this GOTD page is full of since 'few format' started, and even my normally useful AdMuncher cannot tackle this UTTER nuisance!!, oh well.. Any ideas out there Guys??
Privazer (also portable) and Junkware Removal Tool can do the same job for free! Just to say.....
le programme ne veut pas s'installer, il affiche le message suivant : "Failed to launch the program"
