The program can't be opened unless you follow their link and install the free Ghostscript 8.71.
I tested two pdf-files, one with a single image (logo) + indented and numbered text. After conversion to Word, the image was wrong, but the text seemed pretty good. When I tried to insert lines, however, the text became overwritten, and the numbering failed.
The other pdf was originally created with MS Publisher and then saved as a pdf-file, and it contained photos, wordart and text. After converting this pdf to Word, the result was totally useless.
The conversion of a single page was very fast, but as is the case with many other pdf converters, this one only converts to Word satisfactory with simple, text-based pdf-files. I didn't test export to any other format.
It wants Ghostscript 8.71 to be installed. I already have Ghostscript 9.06 installed?????

THIS PROGRAM IS ONE OF THE WORST CONVERTERS I HAVE USED!
I was really happy when I saw the program because I do a lot of conversion of brochures and catalogs, love to steal the formatting for my own projects, so I don't reinvent the wheel. I tried 3 different types of files in PDF : brochure, catalog, newsletter.
All 3 of them convert perfectly in other PDF programs. I use ExpertPDF, NitroPDF and WonderSofts PDf converter. The end result was.....
This prograom couldn't convert one page properly! All the text was thrown all over the pages. The fonts were standard but then showed up as generic Times Rman.
This program was a waste of download time. Don't do it! You need the GhostScript on top of it. They actually have some startup program that loads as stated above.
There are many free versions of other programs or limited trials that others have stated. Use those and you will be happy!
I am really surprised at the 85 people who liked the program. That tells me that they never used it and just assumed it 'looked' cool!
Hope this helps save just one person the 10 minutes of their life that it will take to download this piece of garbage.

j'ai essayé le programme FBM PDF Converter.
il fonctionne parfaitement en conversion pdf doc.
Je n'ai pas essayé les autres fonctions
et je n'ai pas utilisé Microsoft Office.
J'ai converti un pdf en doc à peu près parfait.
Parce que les accents semblent mal passer sous OpenOffice, mais bon tout le reste est là, tableaux, texte, chapitres tout.
il reste assez peu de "post-production" sur le document final.
Un soft indispensable, très pratique, vraiment.
Merci à GAOTD de nous offrir cette petite pépite...
