Installed and registered with problems on a Win 8.1 ro 64 bit system. Double checked email... the email with the key does not arrive in the next minutes. It's a long time, that I have seen such an old fashioned installation procedure.
A German company with name&address and a real company info.
Wulf-Dieter Lugert was a university professor for music education. He has been working with music software since the late 1970s. He loves to play the piano. Dieter is leading the FORTE project, and is responsible for FORTE meeting your demands.
One small detail, this software is on sale for $9.00 and not for $24.00 and it has slightly more capabilities than the freeware :

This is something different, not the usual PDF converters or watermark applications. Something for the musician in you. To be correct : for the beginning musician...
Upon start an understandable interface opens, you can start with a wizard or with templates (piano solo or two viola for example), you see a blank note sheet and you can enter the notes.
There is an option to read music sheets as scan, but you have to download it for $29.
The input of notes is easy, the learning curve for using the program is flat. With the built in player you hear your notifications.
With this very basic edition you can make a simple tune, for more voices and more than four tracks you need the other editions.
A nice and well tested piece of software with a long market history.
Does what it claims - but limited for the beginner. If you are a prof you'll know this software anyhow.
Be warned. It is easier to USE the software than to COMPOSE a good song. LOL
I'll keep it, maybe I will become Beethoven II or Beethove III.

Installed fine and received my activation code, but I can't find where to put it.
The program runs and so far is very easy to use. For anyone who wants to do notation, this program is working very well.

Certains logiciels non-commerciaux sont 1000 fois plus performant.
(MScore par exemple)
Dommage que la fonction "Import Scan" n'est pas disponible a l'essai.
C'est la seul fonction qui aurait pu faire un + pour avoir envie d'acheter la version complète.
(. . . A condition que le résultat de l'import de scan soit valable, bien sûr).
Logiciel a améliorer au plus haut niveau.
Peut-être pour d'autres versions...

Pour avoir le code, il ne faut pas cliquer sur le lien envoyé par mail, une erreur de leur part.
Il faut copier l'adresse affichée sur votre mail et la coller dans votre navigateur. La réponse est immédiate.
