Activated immediately, no issues.
However, it should be noted that during install, you can opt to store Skype conversations solely on your home pc rather than in Gmail, yet even if you choose that option, as I did, the install cannot be completed unless you provide not just your Gmail address but also your password, which I was not about to do.
It seems bonkers to me, in terms of security -- they're not only going to have your Skype number but also your Google Account (which of course gives them access to way more than just email, if you're big on Google apps).
It also strikes me as odd that this software should be so narrowly applicable to Skype calls. You'd think, if they're going to be all over your Gmail Account, that you'd also be able to use it with Google Voice & Chat.
(for that matter, if I'm going to install a workstation app capable of recording telephone calls, why wouldn't this app also record any and all soft phone conversations emanating from my computer?)
And there's no indication on the developer's homepage that this app will ever be applicable for anything besides Skype.
I'm actually in the market for a nice integrated bit of software that seamlessly records my calls. I do lots of interviews as a writer & researcher and currently use a digital recorder, which is far less convenient.
Unfortunately, given the limited appeal of this product and the unlimited access it (supposedly) requires to my private data and communications, I can't even consider it.

after installing it is nt activating . " This Key Has already been registered using a different skype id "
After installing, I tried launching the program and got a prompt saying that the Skype account is already in use. I tried inputting my own Skype account but have been unsuccessful. Something is wrong with this program so I just uninstalled it.
First, I'm wondering what has happened with Ashraf, mike, and others who previously gave us useful evaluations of the software here.
Second, I don't understand what's with all you folks who give thumbs up or (especially) thumbs down, but don't make a comment about the programs. More and more of this is happening but I find it more stressful than helpful-- IF YOU HONESTLY HAVE STRONG FEELINGS, BASED ON EXPERIENCE, please be so kind as to share with the rest of us what you do/don't like. If you are simply voting to push an agenda, please quit!

avec 7z
clic droit sur l'exe
ouvrir
et extract le fichier g-recorder.exe dans votre c: en remplacement de l'autre
validé
et en bas fait clic droit

Pensez bien à fermer le programme et en particulier dans la barre système de Windows (en bas à gauche près de l'horloge) et collez le programme ici (par défaut):
C:\Program Files\G-Recorder

Au cas où vous n'auriez pas remarqué, Google a clairement affirmé qu'il se permettrait d'aller consulter le contenu des mails que vous recevez ou émettez (ce qui en France est interdit, le courrier est confidentiel...)
Avec cet outil, vous permettez à Google d'aller consulter *en plus* les messages oraux que vous échangez via Skype (qui, lui, respecte scrupuleusement votre confidentialité).
Si la protection de votre vie privée n'a aucune importance pour vous, installez les outils fournis par Google (et ils commencent à être nombreux). Si vous tenez à votre vie privée... abstenez-vous !

Je suis un gros utilisateur de Skype et franchement je comprends absolument pas l'intérêt de le "coupler" avec Gmail... Faudrait qu'on m'explique !
