In case everyone wasn't aware, it would appear that iBoysoft uses a reskinned and rebranded version of M3 Data Recovery. Your key will work on the M3 software as well, unlocking the "Standard" edition. M3 Data Recovery is currently at Version 5.8.6. Not sure how the version numbers relate to each other, or if M3 is ahead of iBoysoft in it's capabilities or not. They appear to be functionally identical, but personally I like the layout of M3 as it doesn't look so "childish". M3 also doesn't have a "rate me" nag screen when closing the software as someone else had previously stated.
The websites are laid out nearly identical, though the iBoysoft seems to have made a bit more use of moving items on the pages as well as a more "cartoony" look. iBoysoft also seems to have quite a few more misspelled words in their English pages. They both are located in "Chengdu China", so take that as it is. Maybe they are the same company parading around as different?
I've tried both. They both seem to do what they claim to do, up to the extent of their capabilities. I'd personally base my decision of what you want to see. A piece of software that gives off a professional look, or a cartoony, "feel good" look.

Followed instructions in Readme.txt file and received registration code via email (gmail account). Installed software via setup and inserted registration key under Upgrade option. Seems to take a LONG time with Deep scan selected so I decided to try a 16GB USB drive instead of HD. I minimized program and went about other tasks while I waited and waited. I probably won't keep it mainly because every time I close program a pop-up appears wanting a rating. I'll stick with free Recuva for now.
