Somewhat dissapointing that this is the Home edition yet described as "A professional Windows data recovery software" and an "All-in-one data recovery Solution!"
But then to find on https://www.m3datarecovery.com/data-recovery/purchase.html
That under the Home edition price it says "(Bitlocker encrypted drive is not supported in Home editiom)"
and in comparison matrix further down it adds that bootable media is not available.
Add to that I can find no reference to it being able to create and work off an image file of the drive that is being examined to ensure a failing drive is not destroyed further by the recovery attempts. A must for any Professional Windows data recovery product!
It is an interesting feature offered to try and fix a drive presenting as RAW in drive manager but if it is RAW due to failed critical sectors whose data can be replaced/regenerated and written back to the drive anyone familiar with data recovery knows you never write data to a failed/failing drive as that will force sector relocations and any remaining patial data will be perminantly lost and could cause further failure if the head is damaged in some way causing corruption of critical magnetic patterns on the platters.
I would like to see the ability to first create an image file and work off that image alone and if the filesystem can be restored to full functionality the ability to write the repaired image to a new drive of similar geometry to the original.
Also odd that there is no support for RAID recovery accross the entire range of editions yet there is support for dynamic volumes, spanned, striped, mirrored and RAID-5 accross all editions.

Installed on, W10 ssd 64b. Re-formated an 8G SC which was half full with jpgs and doc files. Neither of the 3 types of recovery options found any files. First impressions will make or break a program and so far I'm not impressed. I didn't bother trying to recover just simply deleted files as there are many free recovery programs that will do the trick.
Tina Rayner, try to download Rlinux. There is also a Win-version. Also a boot-version for free.
Nothing special, with very limited options compared to others, even though it shows my connected crashed external usb drive on WIN 10 pc, even with the deep scan options, it could not recover not 1 file, no matter what option selected. Uninstalled.

un programme 100% perte de temps
1) une interface non traduite .
2) Le programme met un petite paire heures pour lister un DD de 113Go .
3).et après hein après "select file" même si tout est sélectionné sur l'interface il ouvre une demande d'ouvrir un fichier sur un autre disque (là on ne sait pas à quoi ça peut correspondre puisque rien ne marche
4) à signaler que même enregistré le jour même du téléchargement, ça ne marche pas
vous obtenez une liste de ce que vous avez perdu 70$ pour savoir ce qui est perdu il y a de quoi rigoler
un soft dont le fonctionnement est incompréhensible à oublier
remarque je ne comment pas trop le jour même je préfère tester avant
et résultat Testé et désapprouvé
