The Good
* Straightforward and easy to use.
* Users can create picture collages based on shapes modeled after graphics or text.
* As a model for the collage, users can use a handful of graphics that come with the program or draw/import their own.
* There are various different settings for collages which can be controlled by the user, such as individual picture size, amount of pictures used, picture shadow, collage background color, etc.
* Users can view a "live preview" of the collage as they create it.
* Can output collages as PSD, in addition to JPG and PNG.
The Bad
* Extremely memory inefficient.
* Lacks support for other popular image formats like GIF and BMP when outputting collages.
* Program window is not resizeable.

Downloaded, installed, and activated fine on Vista x32. Simple, intuitive interface. Program is very easy to use - I created a collage of 50 pics, and applied selected edits, in about 5 minutes. Definitely a nice addition to my photo-editing software arsenal. Two-thumbs-up, and a big thanks to GOTD and Pixel-App Studio.

Not something I'd use at 26.95, when there are so many free collage makers out there.
Personally this caters to a limited crowd. i.e. Someone in a family wanting to put family pics in one collage. Or a student or child wanting a collage of friends.
This is not an everyday program either, which is why $26.95 is steep.
This is a program you use once or twice a year.
I truthfully can't see anyone making a collage once a week.
Maybe once a month if you're really into it. But most collage builders use it 2 or 3 times and forget about it.
If I were going to charge $9.99 tops.
But I'm not selling it, so it's just my opinion and I wish the coders very good luck in selling their product.
And thank you GAOTD for offering us this fine piece of software.
#6, Greg if there isn't a button labelled Register to the left of the button labelled Help Topics at the top right of the program window, then your program is registered.
Downloaded, no problem. Installed on Vista X64, no problem. Ran, registered, no problem. Created my own quick 'design', tools for that are a little limited, but, I got what I wanted. Picked 9 or so pics at random, opened, created, saved as JPG, looked just fine to me.
Definitely a paste-up collage effect, as expected, but as someone else mentioned, definitely not something I'd use every day, or even every m onth. If it's an effect you're looking for, to add to your designer profile, and you can't find it anywhere else, it's definitely a timesaver.
The help is rather skimpy; though the Graphic Library Manager is functional, I'd really rather know where the shape files are stored, without having to search my HD for them. As well, being able to resize the app to not seem so puny on my monitor would make it nicer to use. :)
Options for controlling the output are nice, didn't see anything I'd want in particular that isn't there. Speed and responsiveness of the collage to the changes is good. Would be nice to be able to save settings as a preset (including the shape), so a given set can be easily retrieved.
Definitely worth grabbing if you think you'll ever have a need for this sort of thing.

Je rejoins l'avis de Guy sur ce soft et j'ajoute que GAOTD devrait être rebaptisé: TAOTD c'est à dire: Throw Away Of The Day.
Navré mais au vu des softs offerts ces derniers mois, je ne peux plus continuer à cautionner ce site.
Dommage car l'idée était bonne.
Bonne continuation à celles et ceux qui oseront continer l'aventure...

effets simplistes avce quelques photos et .... plantage systématique dès qu'on charge plus de 3 ou 4, pire encore avec un dossier.
Pas terrible quoi, et pas de langue française non plus. Ce ne s'impose vu la simplicité du truc, mais quand même.
L'export Photoshop, c'était finalement la seule bonne idée du soft, mais je n'ai pas pu aller jusque là.
