This is not a straightforward downloader. You need to enter the account name of the person who uploaded the video to YouTube. You type this in the box and it collects all their videos. You then select what you want downloaded.
Summary
I thought this a bit suspicious. Just as I started it up it wanted an outbound connection, which my firewall detected and asked what I wanted to do. I blocked and deleted, and looked for something else.

Downloaded and tried to install.
Got the free key from website as instructed.
Successfully accepted but when I checked the information section, it says I only have 365 days left of the current license?
*Can only search from Youtube.
I tried the "Find videos online" option with the keyword "love".
10 mins later.. it says search still in progress...
I tried with the browser and results showed up in .005 secs. (Failed...)
I tried the download videos option with a youtube video link and clicked Start Download. The progress bar appeared full as soon as I clicked it. I checked the downloads folder and the file was there with 0 bytes. (Failed...)
Not too bad, but for $24 it's not worth it when there are so many free alternatives available.

Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 Bit system.

The program wants to start in the setup always the IE. I denied, because I work with other browsers and the setup did finish without problems.
A non standard interface opens. It tells you immediately that you can only search on You Tube (like the title suggests). For other platforms you must buy the "Pro" version.
I made a search for "slow cooker", Hey it's Sunday and I need some recipes for this evening... "slow" cooker.
You can select how many videos you want to find, 10, 20, 50 or 100. That's all and insufficient. How will I find a video, which is not in the first hundred hits? Why not select 400to500? But okay. You see a preview and you can watch directly in the program window this video or download it. I tried to download the first video : "not available", then the second. The download is extremely slow for some unknown reasons. I will not blame this software.
You can afterwards convert the video to many different formats for many different devices. The settings are usefully and the conversion finished the job without problems.
The program is self explaining and makes a good impression.

Le problème c'est que le logiciel ne fait rien de + qu'un logiciel gratuit. Parce que ce que l'on peut attendre d'un logiciel de téléchargement youtube payant : c'est de passer outre les vidéos qui sont protégées contre l'enregistrement.
Si c'est pour remplacé downloadhelper en payant ce n'est pas la peine.
Ce que je fais pour tester ce genre de logiciel de téléchargement, chaque fois je tente d'enregistrer ce film sur la guerre de 14 qui a été protégé en enregistrement.

MyTube6 convertit en WAVE. Je viens de vérifier dans la liste des formats.

Je ne connais pas Downloader Helper mais je connais Video Downloader Ultimate pour Google Chrome. C'est limité comme possibilités de réglages mais cela peut être suffisant pour l'utilisateur débutant.
Les paramètres audio et vidéo de MyTube6 sont bien plus nombreux. Il prend en compte une série d'appareils (et leurs formats) qui vont de l'Apple iPhone, iPod, iPad, Mac, en passant par Acer, Archos, BlackBerry, DivX, DVD, HD et Full HD, HTC, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, etc.

Meuh non ! Je viens de l'installer et je n'ai pas observé de modification à mon Flash Player ni à mon anti-virus (Norton).
Faut juste être attentif et ne pas cliquer pour accord quand l'installeur vous propose des choses dont vous n'avez pas envie.
Dans mon cas, j'ai refusé de couper mon anti-virus et mon pare-feu. Si on est assez con pour accepter de désactiver son anti-virus, dans ce cas le PC se trouve sans protection et de ce fait, l'installateur en profite pour y mettre une protection anti-virus. Logique!
Même chose avec Adobe : ne lancez pas la procédure de mise à jour si votre Flash Player fonctionne bien. Vous pourrez toujours mettre à jour plus tard si nécessaire.
Etc.
Le logiciel MyTube6 fonctionne très bien sans ces "suppléments". J'ai testé l'enregistrement d'une vidéo de YouTube pour m'en assurer et il n'y a aucun problème. Le logiciel tient ses promesses.

My_tube_6 lance une mise à jour de Adobe_flash_player, qui installe McAfee Security Scan Plus sans possibilité de refuser (ou d'accepter) ce logiciel parasite
Dommage, cela gâche le plaisir d'essayer les logiciel proposé par Giveway, cela ne m'était jamais arrivé sur Giveway depuis de nombreuses année.
