What happens after the 12 month license expires? does just the entitlement to tech suport and free updates cease or does it reduce in functionality in some subtantial way?

Can't you please request that the software providers ALWAYS spell this out?
I can't be the only one who regularly rejects downloads because of the uncertainty. I may be rejecting perfectly good software, which does nothing to benefit the software house, GOTD, or me.

And yet this the standard version cannot live up to that claim as there is a pro version too.
I have this from 2016 but quite frankly I have never needed to use it because I have yet to find something that the free Peazip has not been able to handle.
Not that Powerarchiver may have some additional useful tools in the box but it's one to check out carefully before purchase as you might find that you pay for something that has features that you may never use.
Probably, the most powerful "compressed file" handling tool existing. For the biggest part of the users, the required functionality can be found in free alternatives, though.

Je vais utiliser PA2018 pour me familiariser avec un domaine que je connais mal.
1. Setup OK
2. Pour ce qui est de l'enregistrement... j'ai bien cru que je n'y arriverais pas... mais si. si... le 4ème mail tardait à venir (donc patience des fois !) et bien respecter la procédure (tout lire) !
Nombreuses langues, au choix mais PA2018 m'est arrivé tout cuit en français même installé sur un Windows 10 - 64 bits - Version turque.
Parfait mais reste à étudier et tester. Cordialement.
