L'offre gratuite du jour pour Video Password Protection Pro 2.6.4 était valable le 18 mars 2022!
Video Password Protection Pro protects videos with a password. The application wraps the video inside an executable shell that you can play anywhere and will not play unless the user enters the correct password.
The program guarantees privacy for your videos. No one can view the video unless they enter the correct password. You can share videos with a closed group without worrying about someone else watching them.
Video Password Protection Pro packs your video as-is with an executable shell containing a video player, then protects the executable with a password of your choice. Note that anti-virus software confuses movie segments with viruses because video segments interestingly present patterns similar to viruses patterns. Nothing to worry about: The viruses are all false positives. You may have to create an exception for the executable to play the video on your computer.
When the protected video executes on a computer, the application shell opens its media player, loads your original video, and plays it. If the computer does not have the necessary codecs, the application prompts you to download and install a codec pack.
Main Features:
1. Ability to password protect your videos.
2. Password protection is secure and unbreakable on the client-side.
3. Ultra-fast protection because your original video is not changed at all.
4. The program works in batch mode.
Extra features:
1. Video player to preview videos.
2. Simple user interface presenting no learning curve.
3. Videos protected will play on any Windows computer.
Video Password Protection Pro is unique on the market. The ability to protect videos with passwords give users the freedom to choose who can see their videos.

Password protecting video is a great idea, but this particular method leaves much to be desired.
Nobody I know would accept an exe file that triggers virus warnings just to watch a video. Most people are, justifiably, too paranoid these days to go that route.
Furthermore, no email server allows one to email an exe file as an attachment so you'd need to put it in a zip (or other compressed) archive or something to send it through email.
Also, the windows only limitation on this seems like too much to ask as well. Video is supposed to be Operating System independent. And with win 11 here, many I know are switching to linux or mac. I run both win and mac, but can't stand the changes both are making and will likely go linux and only keep a win (or mac) machine for those few programs I can't do without and which wont run on linux (even under WINE).
So thanks for the lifetime license, but I didn't even try this one as the entire concept is a bit too much for my tastes.
An alternative idea to password protect videos is one I came up with for DVDs. Make a series of menus with the same "keyboard" layout and only the correct sequence of letter/number choices leads to the video. Errors return to the main menu. That could be distributed as a password protected iso file and be Operating System independent.

I find that it is easier also to (I use this method in my unlimited cloud storage)
RAR the video with a password and send the video link to the persons' email with the password and that person can download it from my site and watch it directly on their device with no issues).
