Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.2 Pro 64 bit system.
A (Chinese - Xi`an Zhihengyinwu Co. Ltd.) company without name&address, the version 1.0 is on the market since October, 2012.
Upon start a small non resizable window opens. In the setting you can switch a sound reminder on/off. You can add a file or folder, the default output directory is c:\output. Not a good place...
You can rotate your video in 90 degree steps - or mirror it. You can of course leave the orientation as it is and use this small tool as a simple converter.
The software uses the original MEncoder from the Mplayer team (Sherpya-SVN-r3401.4.6.2) from 2011, but does not give any credit to this (copyrighted) software. The added "Direct Show Native Wrapper" dsnative.dll is bundled with MPlayer package, too.
The software does what it claims, it rotates a video. This feature is found in other applications, too.
Uninstalled via reboot.

Just as Karl writes,
"The software does what it claims, it rotates a video. This feature is found in other applications, too." so this is often interpreted negatively about a program only makes one or at most two things.
For me it's the opposite!
I have a particular fondness for these programs.
Most often it's just one thing you just have to do for now and it's nice not having to start a large and "heavy" program for just that.
If one as I have a program like Fences, so one can name their shortcuts to something descriptive, as in this case, "Rotate video."
Easy to find the program that does just what you want!
Many large programs may, but is not always the best at all the functions and who remembers all the features that a certain program can?
Small smart software and many are additionally transportable, saving many starts heavy and memory intensive programs, before you may find just the tool you are looking for.
The mantra "Think big" is not always applicable.

#5,dadams, asked why would we want to rotate a video: when i transferred my videos from iphone to xp pc, everything was right side up as it should be. for some reason when i moved to win 7 my iphone videos were all laying on their side. this was very very frustrating and i was scouring the web for a 'movie rotating app'. i didn't want to do anything else, i just wanted the videos rotated so i could see what i had!

Althougj I used it when offered in the last GAOTD but recently I used GOM player and found the option of rotating under video > rotate. It has three options 90, 180, 270 degree. So anybody just for viewing any video, they can make use of GOM player but if in case of saving the video and using it in future they can use todays gaotd offer.

Does this re-encode the video to rotate it, or is it lossless? With any video-altering software it is always important to know if it re-encodes the video, as each time the video is processed, it looses a little quality each time.
