Horrible UGI, very cluttered and no tool tips on a lot of the icons to tell you what they do. Tried joining and editing a couple of small clips, one of the clips contained an advert which I tried to remove and inserted a transition between the two clips and exported. After the export was done, the video quality was good, but the transition was missing and the part I thought I'd cut out was still present. Thought I might have messed up and carefully repeated the process and still got the same results. Also took several attempts to get the activation key. I'll stick with my current video editor which does all of the above effortlessly and first time. Sorry but not for me.
I'll take this update. I have found after using the free version and previous giveaway of Pro that this is very powerful and actually easier than some. The feature that I found most helpful for editing videos of conversations and group presentations is the ability to zoom the audio stream display. One can zoom to 4x. Then I can see where sound begins and can cut the conversation at a good place. Most other free editors do not allow one to either see the audio track, or it is too small. I also found it easy to merge tracks as layers, or add an image to a video as a layer. Yes, it is a complicated display, but with a little effort it has been better for me than most others.
Had no problems with installation and activation.
I haven't tested the program, other than running it and deciding I'm not sure if I'll use it because it looks a lot more complicated than what I'm used to (OpenShot).

DaVinci Resolve is free (for personal use) and extremely complete. Tons of tools, FX, audio, and more... It's mostly for advanced users, so if you are interested in creating professional videos, look no further than DaVinci!

Bon, le fichier est chargé, décompresser et le setup lancer.
un choix proposé français (cocorico) mais c'est pour l'installation, mais en fait ça met aussi le soft en français (pour des linguiste de ma catégorie ..hum ...c'est indispensable, surtout lorsque démarre l'interface (Ouch!) y'a un tableau de bord qui n'a pas à rougir si on le compare à celui d'un Airbus (pas le petit, A380) dire qu'il y a des options et des réglages à foison c'est enfoncé une porte ouverte
Donc , perso la Vidéo, c'est pas mon truc, mais comme ce soft est en démo et que le but de GAOTD est d'avoir des retour sur les soft présentés, on fait quand même des tests ...
J'ai pas tout compris
( et vu le nombre de truc possible il va falloir du temps. un truc qui serait pas mal c'est de pouvoir commenter ces softs sur une durée plus longue parce que pour celui-ci une semaine ne serait pas de trop pour comprendre ce qu'il est capable de faire...et aussi pour que j'en comprenne un minimum de fonctionnement)
alors soft en français +1
interface +1 (claire, spacieuse , redimensionnable avec ascenseurs)
l'activation se fait avec une adresse dans le TXT joins, ça vous renvoi sur une page ou vous devez renseigner, nom et adresse mail..(et un anti robot)
alors dans le TXT une procédure complexe pour s'enregistrer (là j'ai pas eu trop envie de suivre) copier /coller directo dans le soft redémarrage et ça passe (donc procédure un peu longue à ignorer)
