I love WinUtilities but never use the cleanup tools... ever... especially duplicate file finder or registry cleaner. I depend on the file shredder a lot! It has been many years since I have had this program and the reminder to install it is appreciated.
So lifetime license? As in forever upgrades?
mountainvision@gmail.com, do you realy enjoy publishing your email address for all spammer email harvesting spiders to crawl and find? Or is it not your email address but an enimies that you are trying to get added to a spammers mail list?
I think to avoid the comment NAME field being abused for malicious purposes that they should script the name field so it blocks the use of the "@" character and either refuses the entry of an email address as a NAME or mangles it by converting a "@" into say an "_" or "_@_" to make it not a vailid email address.
Back to your questions generally speaking lifetime license HERE means it will continue to operate with current licensed features indefinatly but as with standard giveaway terms there is NO automatic entitlement to free updates or upgrades to future version releases or re-installation rights after the giveaway duration slot. Installing those future updates or upgrades will NORMALLY invalidate the giveaway license.
Had an older giveaway copy on my system. This installed right over it and remained a lifetime license without requiring entering the code or restarting. Thumbs up for a trivially simple update process.

I did the update and after a reboot it reports "licensed to Giveawayoftheday - Lifetime license"

No. No, I won't put this on my machine. A collection of "utilities" that are just for the most part (if not all) already built in to Windows. With the addition of some "Registry tools" that could seriously damage your machine if not used correctly. Way back in the day I used programs like this and spent many hours undoing the damage done by the vast majority of them. Then I wised up and LEARNED how to do what this does. Simple actually, and with the bonus of not tanking my machine. I urge you to do the same. Its not hard and you have the added bonus of KNOWING how YOUR machine works.
YL's website offers no help in describing why this should be installed. Vague promises of a speedier machine. Stock photo's of "their" people/business. No ultimate physical address except for US office location. Seems iffy to me. I'm almost positive this is a Chinese company but just TRY to find out. Now, that wouldn't automatically be a deal breaker for me but why the vagueness ?
Modern day snake oil imho. You want a speedier machine? Delete your cookies (built in to Windows and all browsers), Defrag your HDD (built in to Windows), Clean up your HDD (built in to Windows), delete unused programs (built in to Windows), turn off unnecessary/unwanted start up items (built in to Windows). If those don't help, buy more RAM and/or a newer faster HDD preferably a SSD. You cannot make a Volkswagen into a Porsche just by tuning it you know.

Installation sans problème, licence à vie, et après une maintenance " un clic ", l'effet sur l'ordi est palpable. Semble plus efficace que Glary Utilities pro.

installé sans problème, heureuse surprise: le français est proposé d'entrée à l'installation (je suppose un alignement sur les paramètre régionaux). Il faut relancer le programme pour que la licence soit prise en compte ...OK au redémarrage annonce qu'une nouvelle mouture est à téléchargée ?!? je ! eh bien ceytte nouvelle version est prise sur la même licence. Bon au test (un petit point de restauration rapide, mais non pas Mc Do , ni Quick . on ne sait jamais)
alors un clic maintenance (comme j'ai déjà une habitude de ne pas trop laisser s'encrasser le PC ) c'est fait très rapidement , et à première vue efficace, le PC répond plus nerveusement. pas mal d'outils (26 modules en fait) certains vous donne accès aux paramètres de Windows( ce qui est plutôt agréable lorsqu'on est habitué à XP et que l'on se retrouve sous 7, 8 ou 10...ou quelque soit la version habituel et que l'on passe à une autre..(^_^)
au final un bon programme, en plus 1 clic maintenance pour ne pas se prendre le choux
