This GAOTD is one of the best file manager tool I ever used so far.
It sports an extremely powerful file search and preview function, enabling you to perform several tasks with ease, such as:

- sort items according to various factors (attributes, comments, ratings etc...)
- customize columns, rename tabs & calculate folder sizes
- create a favorites list & run scripts etc...

Best of all it's fully portable....so couldn't ask more!

Something very strange happened when XYplorer ran for the first time after installation. There are two user accounts on my PC, one standard and one administrator. I installed XYplorer from the standard account and checked the option to make it available to all users of the computer, When XYplorer ran for the first time, I was able to access the administrator account's files from the standard account and was even able to delete one of them. Once I closed the program and restarted it I couldn't access the administrator account and got the expected 'Access is denied' message. There appears to be a serious security flaw in XYplorer, even though it only exists the first time it is run, so I hope the developer reads this.

This is one of great file manager for windows.
Thank you for "Donald Lessau" and GOTD Team to bring the promotion back with new version.
PS: You could put this program as portable application by copying setting files in same folder with XYplorer.exe.

FYI: It's 100% portable. Nothing in the registry. Nothing in the system. It's a copy and paste app that doesn't leave any traces in the system. Full stealth.
