Update :
As per previous post I found a limitation in the program. There seems to be a issue if you go to the root of the hard drive and use "dir /s" if your drive contains many many files the screen will go white (When it runs out of ram) and will have to be manualy shut down.

I'm guessing it's something to do with the log files but I didn't build this program so I can't say for sure.

I primarily use my command prompt for some of my telnet session and this program doesn't recognize telnet so at a guess, it's loading it's own set of commands and not pulling them from the installed or available commands already on the PC. Sorry but this is a fail for me and I really could have used it.

the program was downloaded, and installed without issue
Windows 7 / 64-bit / administrator account
13 MB fully installed.

does not automatically replace command prompt (can still be reached by typing cmd into start menu search bar.

works just like standard command prompt with the following exceptions:
maintains logs of all windows opened (including the current window)
while typing a suggestion box appears with suggestions seems to only recognize directory info. does not seem to recognize members of the path
able to open up to 4 simultaneous panes each one supporting tabs.
panes can be arranged in 6 different configurations ( single pane, 2 panes vertical divide, 2 panes horizontal divide, 3 panes full height left 2 horizontally divided right, 3 panes vertically divided side by side, and 4 panes in a quadrant view)
when changing configuration new panes are not added, but clicking the new button places a pane into an unoccupied spot
when changing configuration if panes are removed they are condensed into tabs.
tabs can be switched between by using arrow buttons on the GUI, or clicking the tab desired.
help button brings up what is most akin to a About option
program is able to be extended the width of the screen.
program is able to go full screen (only really hides the navigation bar, and the windows toolbar.
only one instance of the program can run at any given time.
if the log files (text files operable in any text program) are removed the program will come up in the directory that it was installed in.
logs store all commands entered ending with a return (log files updated in real time) cls result is not loged, but program interface does follow directive
program displays environment variables at the bottom of the screen (including path) for unknown reason
can remember the last state the window(s) were in
does not override console applications (these will still open in classic console this is a consideration for some programmers)
program defaults to displaying a message box on closing the program (this can be turned off through the options menu)

pluses:
able to size the window to the full width of the screen.
able to hold logs of actions
can give listing of directory if looking for a specific file in the current directory (though it goes for exact sequence matching)

minuses:
does not help with commands like program names, dir, and so on
suggestion box can be navigated by keyboard arrows, but pressing enter only acts as normal, selection must be made from the box using double click
user must already be familiar with the common commands of command prompt.
does not replace the console for running programs (I do console programming, and would like to see a program with some of these capabilities be able to replace the console for running the programs namely logging output, and re-sizing)

conclusion:
the program is ok for what it does, but seems to be a reach to meld the Windows, and Linux worlds. the features that it does bring to the table seem to be mostly there, but could be better still. when it comes down to a $40 price tag it is not worth it. as a free offering its a good grab. I will be keeping, but willing to remove if needed

When running the program I get the following error message:

Unable to execute file
g:\Program files (x86)\PowerCmd\PowerCmd.exe

CreateProcess failed; code 740.
The requested operation requires elevation

on checking the web I found the following information:

Error Code 740 is a harsh Windows error that is reason by unacceptable registry entries as well as out-of-date or crooked drivers. These errors be supposed to be solved instantly. If not, there will arise further corruption in additional applications as well as hardware such as hardware breakdown, blue screen errors as well as fatal crashes. The general indication comprise lock-ups, power cut or start up issues pc freezing, no sounds, issues as well as problems at the point in software installation.

As for the crooked drivers, I keep my drivers up to date at all times. I'm afraid Ppower Cmd will have to go. I cannot risk having my computer lock up due to a program 'm likely to use once in a blue moon.

I though the concept interesting and wanted to check it out, ah well it was not to be.

This program is interesting, but not all features works like (I found this during quick test):

- shortcuts - Switching between consoles sometimes works and sometimes not; Toggle bookmarks with Ctrl-F2 not work although context menu says that it should.
- completion - when i wrote 'cd mic' in 'Program Files' directory it shows me context menu with everything and not just directories with 'mic' beginning like 'Microsoft Visual Studio'. Moreover, when I choose one, PowerCmd not complete it in cmd line and try to do 'cd mic' which shows me 'The system cannot find the path specified.'.
